Edward, who had been at WH Ireland for seven years prior to joining JM Finn & Co, looked after a range of private clients, trust, pension and charity portfolios alongside his colleague, John Eastgate, who will join JM Finn & Co in&n bsp;September 2017, following the completion of his contractual notice period.
Edward commented: “I’m delighted to have joined JM Finn & Co, where I’m confident I will be able to provide clients with a quality investment management service, thanks to the huge focus on offering a highly personal service. This, combined with the recently added wealth planning proposition, eagerness for growth and robust ownership structure, was a huge factor in the decision to take the plunge and move to JM Finn & Co.”
Edward began his career at PwC in 2005 before entering the world of investment management with Brown Shipley. His interests outside of work mostly revolve around watching or partaking in sport; this can range from country sports through to cricket, golf and tennis to the less energetic bridge and backgammon.
Edward will be reporting to Sarah Soar, Head of Investment Management, who commented: “We are proud to have tempted Edward over to the firm, and I’m in no doubt that his experience and skill set will fit in seamlessly.”
