Diva Opera, Britain’s foremost cha mber opera company was founded by Anne Marabini Young and Bryan Evans in 1996 and since then has given more than 2,000 performances of 50 different operas and concert programmes for festivals, theatres and charities.
“La Traviata” in English “The Fallen Woman”, is an opera by Giuseppe Verdi based on “La dame au Camelias” a play adapted from Alexandre Dumas starring Laura Parfitt and John Colyn-Gyeantey in the leading role of Violetta and Giuseppe. “Il Barbieri di Siviglia”, The Barber of Seville, is by Gioachino Rossini and stars John-Colyn Gyeantey in the leading role of Il Conte Almaviva.
