JM Finn & Co sponsors Kayaking Challenge

An adventure that began by studying a world map on the kitchen table will see a team of four embark on a 9 week, 800 mile-long expedition across the Caribbean from Grenada to Puerto Rico - in tandem sea kayaks in their bid to be the youngest team ever to have travelled this route in a kayak. 

The KX Kayakers will aim to cover a distance larger than the Dover-Calais stretch every other day. With many stints being over 30 miles long, the team will often be kayaking for over 12 hours non-stop, sometimes through the night. 

The whole expedition will be an enormous test of mental strength, physical endurance and character but the team will be spurred on by their goal of raising £40,000 for two fantastic causes: The Centre for Children's Rare Disease Research at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Lyla Nsouli Foundation for Children's Brain Cancer Research.
