Part of our partnership with Dogs for the Disabled involves sponsoring a dog through its training and socialisation which takes two years to complete. This time we have paired with “Finley”, a Labrador/Golden Retriever cross who was born on 27th of March. Our sponsorship will allow Finley to be trained as a special assistance dog. Hopefully after his training Finley will be placed with someone who can benefit from his help.
Dogs for the Disabled are a life-transforming charity, creating special partnerships between people living with disabilities and specially trained assistan ce dogs. Through practical assistance a dog can offer freedom and independence to children and adults with physical disabilities and children with autism.
