In recognition of its strong presence as a Winchester wealth manager and its contributions to the local community, JM Finn has been shortlisted for the Large Business Award at the 2024 Winchester Business Awards. The judges look for companies that combine commercial success, growth and achievement, clear future growth objectives with innovation and creativity.
JM Finn opened its Winchester branch in 2019 and since then has gone from strength to strength. The office has grown to a team of six investment managers and four support staff, who now manage £990 million on behalf of clients, up from £730 million in 2019. At the end of 2023, JM Finn bought new office premises at a central location in the heart of Winchester to cement its ongoing commitment to Winchester and Hampshire, and to facilitate its continued growth in the region.
Exceptional client service and community engagement have earned JM Finn a strong reputation. Wherever possible, it seeks to support and celebrate local businesses, organisations and charities. Recent events include the Celebration of Christmas charity concert in Winchester Cathedral for which JM Finn was the lead sponsor. The concert raised £105,000 in aid of the Hampshire Medical Fund to provide five incubators for neonatal departments across Hampshire, and the old equipment was donated to Ukraine.
