JM Finn are extremely excited to announce that we will be sponsoring the Art for Youth North event later in the month.
The exhibition, which will celebrate its 20th year anniversary this year, featuring both established and new artists, raises funds for UK Youth, which, improves social mobility by providing high quality services for young people aged 9 to 25.
The charity primarily works with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, from a wide range of religious and cultural environments, family settings, academic ability levels and geographic locations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
They have grown their network to support 1.5 million young people across the UK, with 94,913 young people benefiting directly from their delivery; they have unlocked £5.5 million for the network of local youth organisations; 86% of the young people on programmes face at least one personal barrier; 64% of the young people on their programmes increased key skills such as self- confidence, communication and resilience.
Victoria Hunt, event organisers Art for Youth North commented: ”All the artists are particularly excited to be exhibiting this year, as the pandemic closed so many doors for them. Their feedback is always so positive and they all really enjoy being part of this unique event. We thank them for their generosity, as for every piece sold they donate 33% to UK Youth. Young people are more in need of our help than ever and UK Youth has a range of programmes running throughout the country (including the North East) that support our youth.
We are tremendously grateful and simply couldn’t put on the show without the support of JM Finn. We have a number of fixed costs including panelling our beautiful palladium venue that their sponsorship covers. JM Finn’s clients also create the wonderful atmosphere we always enjoy at our sponsors evening. I think the event is quite distinctive and hugely enjoyed by everyone.”
Antonia Consett, senior investment manager at JM Finn’s Leeds office added: “We are delighted to be involved in such a successful exhibition that raises important funds and are always pleased to see so many of our friends, colleagues and families attend. We hope to continue the partnership for years to come.
