The race is a unique 5km corporate running challenge which takes place around the closed off streets of the City of London. The team event featured runners from Finance, Accountancy, Media and Legal sectors, whilst raising funds and awareness for the official race beneficiary: Seeing is Believing. The charity is committed to help tackle avoidable blindness across the wor ld and this year, and all funds raised are being used to support the ongoing East Africa Child Eye Health programme.
The JM Finn team made a great effort in supporting the cause, sporting the company logo as well as raising awareness for our corporate charities, Dogs For Good and the Tower Hamlets food bank. The team’s fastest entrant completed in a fantastic 19 minutes and 2 seconds. With the winning time just over 15 minutes, we have some way to go before medal chances are on offer, but an excellent effort was made by all and we will be back again to fight for the title next year. Many congratulations to everyone that took part.
